We are delighted to announce a Gala Dinner on Saturday 26 November at Cercle Munster to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Society. The Gala dinner will be preceded by a cocktail sponsored by Banque Havilland with harpist Autumn Summers.

Prior to the cocktail and Gala dinner we will hold a talk on ”British diplomacy and the birth of the Grand Duchy. The role of Great Britain on Luxembourg’s road to independence (1815-1867)”. We are deeply honoured that Guy Thewes, Luxembourg renowned historian and director of the both of the Luxembourg City museums, will give this epic and fascinating lecture.

The history lecture, cocktail and dinner will be 90 euros for non-members and 80 euros for members thanks to the generous sponsorship of Banque Havilland. (Unfortunately there is no reduction possible if you are unable to attend the lecture.) If you wish to attend the lecture and cocktail only it will be 25 euros for non-members and 15 euros for members.
