About our Guide
The tour will be led by David Heal
David has lived in Luxembourg for over 40 years and has studied the history of the country for almost as long. David has written and published numerous articles (over 400) and written extensively on the First World War, titles including;
L’Invasion du Luxembourg 1914

PLEASE NOTE
All tours are at the client’s own risk. The battlefield walks involve crossing the old battle lines on foot and there can be unexploded shells, grenades, etc. laying around.
The ground can be very muddy and wet so can be treacherous underfoot.
The Guide takes every care to avoid accidents, but it should be understood participants do so at their own risk.
We would underline this is not a tour for people of reduced mobility, as stated the tour will take participants off the beaten track and would not be suitable for people needing any form of walking aid. It is essential to wear suitable footwear for the uneven and possibly muddy terrain.
Please note cancellations must be received in writing (by email) no later than 12:00 noon on Monday 11th March.
Where no written cancellation is received, we will regrettably have to charge you for the cost of the event.
