Dear Members,We have pleasure in attaching our invitation to our end of year Gala Dinner to be held on Saturday 23rd November. We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

We are delighted to announce that our guest after dinner speaker will be His Excellency George Frieden, Luxembourg Ambassador to the United Kingdom. Last year we were privileged to have ex Ambassador Juliet Campbell, UK Ambassador to Luxembourg from 1988 to 1991. Having just published her memoirs “Playing Britannia” she gave a delightful account of her time in Luxembourg. We are sure Ambassador Frieden will be as equally entertaining.

As you will see we have reluctantly moved from the Cercle Munster, our venue for the past two years, but we seem to have outgrown their capacity, so we are moving to another centrally located venue, Le Hotel Royal, which we are sure will allow us to host more members and remain in the city centre.

The Royal is easily accessible, there is some parking available, although this will be available on a first come first serve basis. The nearest parkings are Royal Hamilius and the Place du Theatre, on public transport the tram allows access.

Accommodation, there is accommodation the Royal has rooms available at approximately 280/305€ per night including taxes and breakfast, you may book directly with the Royal.

For the dinner, please indicate when you reserve if you wish to be seated with a partner or friends, on condition they have registered we will of course respect your request. We will be offering a vegetarian option and we would ask that you indicate if this is your preference when booking. If you have other dietary requirements please let us know.

Closing date and cancellations:

The closing date for registration is 7th November after this date we are unable to make anyrefunds or make alterations.
