We are delighted to announce further tours of our series “Hidden Luxembourg”.
This is an opportunity to visit some lesser-known corners of the city.
Our guide Patrick Schaul, Deputy Chief Guide FFGL (Friends of the Fortress History Luxembourg / Frënn vun der Festungsgeschicht Lëtzebuerg ) will lead the groups into the more hidden corners of the ancient fortifications of Luxembourg.
Tour 2
Meeting point at the parking of the National Sport Institute (INS), 66 route de Trèves, L-2630.
Easy access, buses 14 or 15 (exit Fort du Moulin). The tour ends near Scott’s pub in the Grund.
The itinerary will include:
A “Visit of the Trier frontline” including; Fort Rubamprez, underground structures, Wentzel medieval wall, Vauban Barracks Prussian battery carved inside the rock, nderground communication leading into the old flooding gate.

The tour is only open to BLS members and strictly for those aged 18+
Please note both tours have stairs and uneven surfaces, so they are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please wear suitable footwear and bring a torch (or phone fully charged). The cost of the tour includes insurance.
Please be aware photographs may be taken throughout the event.

Please note cancellations must be received in writing (by email to contact@b-l-s.lu) no later than 14 days before the tour. Where no written cancellation is received, we will regrettably have to charge you for the cost of the event.
