We are delighted to announce further tours of our series “Hidden Luxembourg”.
This is an opportunity to visit some lesser-known corners of the city.
Our guide Patrick Schaul, Deputy Chief Guide FFGL (Friends of the Fortress History Luxembourg / Frënn vun der Festungsgeschicht Lëtzebuerg ) will lead the groups into the more hidden corners of the ancient fortifications of Luxembourg.
Tour 1
Meeting at the front of the Pescatore Foundation (13 Av. Jean-Pierre Pescatore, Luxembourg, L-2324). The tour ends in the City.
The itinerary will include:
- Seeing the commemorative Plaque of the 3rd Army’s Headquarters 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge.
- The Chapel of the Pescatore Foundation
- Fort Royal (where the LUGA crémant is stored)
- Fort Vauban including the associated underground tunnels

The tour is only open to BLS members and strictly for those aged 18+
Please note both tours have stairs and uneven surfaces, so they are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please wear suitable footwear and bring a torch (or phone fully charged). The cost of the tour includes insurance.

Please note cancellations must be received in writing (by email to contact@b-l-s.lu) no later than 14 days before the tour. Where no written cancellation is received, we will regrettably have to charge you for the cost of the event.
