We were honoured to host Juliet Campbell, the first female British
Ambassador to Luxembourg (1988–1991) who spoke about her time in the Grand
Duchy, during the fall of the Berlin Wall and then the negotiations leading
to the Treaty of Maastricht, the single market and the euro and a memorable
exchange during a visit by Margaret Thatcher, who was worried about not
wearing a hat!

celebration at Cercle Munster.
