A commemorative ceremony on the occasion of the 50thanniversary of Sir Winston Churchill’s passing was hosted by the British-Luxembourg Society at the Winston Churchill Memorial (Place Winston Churchill in Luxembourg City from 3-4 pm ) in the presence of representatives of the “Anciens Combattants du Luxembourg” and the British Embassy, the Marshal of the Grand-Ducal Court, and the Mayor of the City of Luxembourg Mrs Lydie Polfer.
