BLS - 2022 Visit - London
We are pleased to announce we are relaunching our visit to London originally scheduled for 2020, but which was sadly cancelled due to the pandemic.
The trip will visit London and the accent will be on visiting some more special and interesting sites. All visits will be accompanied by expert guides or curators giving us an in depth view of just a few of the treasures and institutions which make London so special.
The preliminary programme, subject to final confirmation, will include :
A visit to the Guild of Armourers and Brasiers Hall, home of The Worshipful Company of Armourers and Brasiers one of the Livery Companies of the City of London. The Armourers' Guild was established in 1322; it received a Royal Charter in 1453.
Lunch at Middle Temple Hall.
The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, commonly known simply as "Middle Temple", is one of the four Inns of Court exclusively entitled to call their members to the English Bar as barristers.
Guided tour of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden – back stage.

A curator lead tour of an exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum
A further curator lead tour of the Wallace Collection, Manchester Square, Marylebone.
We will take in a visit to the Sipsmith Distillery, the home of London Gin accompanied by a tasting
and a visit to Wimbledon the home of British tennis.
We will offer a welcome dinner and plan a dinner with the Luxembourg Society of London.
The package will include flights by Luxair and hotel accommodation in central London.
