We are delighted to invite you to a lecture entitled “Exploring Roman Britain” to be held on Friday 19th June at 18.30 – 20.00 at Neie Wee- Dalheim Gallo-Roman Theatre.
Dalheim was regular revictualling point on the route from Metz to Trier. It was built on the ruins of Ricciacum, founded about 18-17 BC. Dalheim at its prime it occupied a 35 hectare site and boasted an extensive infrastructure including a theatre holding 3500 spectators, thermal baths and temples.
The lecture will be given in this wonderful atmospheric venue by Professor Matin Millett Emeritus Laurence Professor, Cambridge.
